USS Arizona Memorial has reopened to the public. Due to damage in both the dock and concrete ramp leading to the memorial, Hawaii had to suspend tour operations to one of its most beloved attractions since May 2018.
The islands are abundant with farms where you can meet goats or see how chocolate is grown. For an easy visit, check out a private shuttle service for transportation to and from the farms of your choosing. They’ll be able to get you the farm and back to tour hotel without any headaches.
The National Park Service (NPS) has updated the completion time for repairs on the USS Arizona Memorial. Visitor access has been suspended since last year due to safety concerns caused by movement on the loading dock and ramp. The repairs were originally due to be completed by October of 2018, but has been pushed back to March 2019.
Boat tours have resumed to the USS Arizona Memorial visitor center. The memorial was originally closed since May 10 due to a faulty anchoring system on the concrete loading dock, which posed a safety concern for visitors.
